SG100 Foundation is proud to be the supporting partner of “Leap Of Faith” Entrepreneurship Panel Sharing at Nanyang Technopreneurship Center, NTU.
Eugene Seah, Head of our Membership shared passionately on the Vision and Mission of the Foundation. 29 people turned out, out of which at least 7 were new joiners. The Collective Leadership Structure was shared to encourage more young leaders to step forward to join in shaping and strengthening the nation.
We were honoured to have Mr Baey Yam Keng, the MP for Tampines GRC, to be our Guest-of-Honour at our #towardssg100 Youth Carnival.
SG100 Foundation has published a series of “Be Outstanding, Live Our Dreams” (B.O.L.D) books for SG51, SG52 and SG53, that features bold Singaporeans who are daring enough to turn their dreams into reality. Mr John Bittleston, one of SG100 Foundation’s Advisors, taught us about what it takes to be a good mentor and what effective mentoring is all about. Mr John Bittlestone is currently the Founder Mentor and Executive Chairman of Terrific Mentors.
On 16 Nov 2016, 120 students attended the GIC Learning Journey. The students were from SG100 Foundation, Temasek Polytechnic, Singapore Institute of Management, Kaplan Institute, University of Adelaide – Alumni and Nanyang Technological University.
On 5 Nov 2016, we had a highly engaging and constructive workshop with Mr Lim Siong Guan (Advisor to the group executive committee of GIC). More than 60 participants from SG100 Foundation attended.
Mr Dennis Ng, founder of SG100 Foundation, gave an insightful talk on the private tuition industry in Singapore on 18 August 2016 to Singapore Institute of Management. Mr Dennis Ng runs a successful chain of tuition agencies in Singapore and the ASEAN region.
Six of our Committee members met with the People’s Association team in charge of “Project We Care” on 12 August 2016. Their Project Chair, Ms Wee Wei Ling, second on the right, was introduced to the activities we have done so far as a ground-up nation-building group.
